I arrived from Vienna on ( Austrian Airlines) in the small Airport of of Kharkov.
The first thing i had to do is buy Health insurance (it is a must) it cost U$3 a week
(you need small bills) Than, the usual inspection of luggage and visa so far all was o.k.
You must not forget to register your arrival within 48 hours after arrival.If you forget you can expect a fine when you like to depart again. Kharkov is nice a bit dirty, i was surprised about the large number of nice coffee shops, that server really nice coffee and cakes.We eat a lot of times in Restaurant, cafe "Colti".18 Universitetskaya street Phone : 12-22-23.I i can recommend it. times to eachother and had a few phonecalls.In one of his last calls
he told me that he had to go in the army for 2 years,and because the
Ukranian army was more like an prison,he neede $350 to payoff,get a
pasport and after another $225 he should pay for a bustrip to me.
I had invited him to come over for a time.He told me when he should
arrive her,but by that time no Denis Rovanov.And when I phoned him.all
of the sudden he didnt know me.
My point:if everyone in Ukrania has same way of treating a person who
wants to be a friend,I feel very sorry for Ukrania and its people.
